Anahita is a beautiful Dynamique 62 designed by Phillipe Briand to combine luxury and comfort whilst still capable of high speed cruising. The uncluttered teak sun decks and the aft raised bathing platform with fresh water shower give plenty of space for relaxing in the sun. If you wish to be more active, the boat is equipped with snorkeling and fishing equipment, windsurfer and water-skis. The wide open cockpit provides shade under the bimini for you to enjoy cold drinks, lunch or dinner "al fresco" with the cooling sea breeze in your hair.
Inside the yacht is surprisingly spacious. The airy saloon is furnished for comfort with a large dining table seating up to 10 guests, a cocktail area, TV, video and HiFi equipment all close at hand. The yacht is fully air-conditioned and with the watermaker there is always a good supply of fresh water.
The cabins are roomy and beautifully wood paneled with a choice of queen size, double or single berths, each enjoying the privacy of an ensuite head and shower.
With the yachts' advanced electronics systems, you can reach home or be contacted as much or as little as you like. The boat is equipped with the most sophisticated telephone, facsimile and electronic mail system available, so you can actually keep on doing business from your yacht. This is the truly personalized vacation, the ultimate freedom. Anahita's Crew Captain Bijan Kalantari and Carmen Bonaparte Captain Bijan Kalantari Has over 33 years’ sailing experience. He bought his first boat in 1972, and obtained his USCG 100 ton license, when he decided to sail professionally, in 1987. A New Yorker since 1957, Captain Bijan has sailed extensively. The current yacht ANAHITA is his 4th boat. To the North he has covered the Long Island Sound, Rhode Island, Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard, Elizabeth Islands, Cape Cod, and Nantucket, as well as Maine and Nova Scotia. To the South he has made several runs to Bermuda, and a number of direct sails between New York and the Virgin Islands, which he first discovered in 1984. He kept his previous boat, Anita Kay, in Marsh Harbor, Bahamas for two years and took the opportunity to sail through much of the Northern Bahamas that included Eleuthra and the Exuma Cays. In the last 4 years he has spent his winters in the Virgin Islands sailing extensively throughout the area, and a number of down islands. He has been through a number of carriers in his life, the first of which was a classical ballet dancer. Trained at the Metropolitan Opera Ballet School in New York City, he performed with a number of companies such as The Metropolitan and The New York City Opera Ballets in New York, and The Venice Opera Ballet in Italy. Carmen Bonaparte The passion for the culinary arts flourished in Carmen during her childhood. She was raised in a wine region on the German-French border were good food and wines were greatly appreciated. She grew up around her uncle’s restaurant, and after some culinary training under some of the best reaching chefs, she made up her mind to become a chef. Carmen was trained at Chateau Colette in France, and since, she has worked as a chef in a number of well known restaurants on both sides of the Atlantic, and later conducted her own catering service.
