Antiquity
41' Morgan Ketch
The 'Antiquity', her name echoes the ancient waters she sails. Come sail with us aboard this handsome Out Island 41 built by the Morgan design Group. Experience an adventure only dreamed of until now. Making her debut in August of '81, Antiquity was built for pleasure and your comfort in mind. You can bask in the warmth of her sun drenched decks or sip your favorite cold drink beneath the center deck canopy while Antiquity carries you over that blue Caribbean Sea to some exciting spot for whatever pleasure you seek. If that pleasure is searching for shells along a virgin shore or some fantastic scuba diving and underwater photography, Antiquity and her Captain know that special place..

Antiquity's Crew Capt David DeCuir and Chef Claudia Borowski Your host aboard the Antiquity is David DeCuir. An amiable man of New Orleans, Louisiana origin, he moves about the deck with all the assurance of a man who knows where he is going and exactly what he is doing. And indeed he does. Licensed by the Coast Guard, Captain DeCuir has spent eleven years sailing the Caribbean, searching out ancient ruins, magical rain forests, and studying all the related history. As most lovers of the sea, he spends hours skin or scuba diving, photographing fish and exploring underwater ruins and formations. Equally skilled in kayaking and fishing, he will be happy to teach you how or aid you in landing that big fish. This unique man's talent doesn't end here. Below deck, Captain DeCuir fills the galley with the sweet spicy smell of original Cajun cooking. With a little coaxing, I am sure he would relinquish his culinary secrets! Dave is joined by 1st Mate Claudia, who grew up in Illinois before heading to the islands. She has one adult son, loves to travel and loves the water. She was first introduced to sailing and the Caribbean on the ANTIQUITY 20 years ago. She is a biologist by training and a naturalist by desire. She has spent her free time up north fishing, birding, gardening and basking in the outdoors. The creatures of the sea and the waters of the seas have always been a favorite. Having snorkeled all her life she has recently certified in Scuba. She eagerly looks foreword daily to sharing the glory of sailing on the Antiquity and the beauty of the islands with all charter guests. Claudia enjoys preparing healthy meals according to the guest needs and desires. Newlyweds, Dave & Claudia welcome you aboard Antiquity to enjoy a relaxing and interesting vacation sailing and experiencing the Caribbean islands. Take a look at their Sample Menu
