Take a look around "Scorpio" - she's a beautiful luxury yacht ideally suited for a couple or small family to charter. They take a maximum of 3 guests the space, attention, and level of comfort you enjoy aboard are exceptional.

The Saloon is spacious and comfortable with a Galley to starboard and a Navigation area to port in the corridor leading to the aft cabin area. On deck she has a spacious centre cockpit with table for al fresco dining and a separate helmsman's cockpit aft.

Richard and Jan have a wealth of sailing experience having spent years cruising the North European Atlantic coast and the warmer climes of the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean, which they sailed without any additional crew aboard. They've now visited almost every country in this region, in the last year alone sailing 6,000 miles circumnavigating the entire Caribbean. Have a look at our travels to see just how far we've sailed. Richard has been sailing since childhood and holds an MCA approved Masters Offshore Qualification for Sailing Vessels up to 200T, so you can sit back and relax while you island hop or he's happy for you to have a go and take the helm, grind the winches and trim the sails while you enjoy the thrills of trade wind sailing aboard Scorpio.

Both qualified as Rescue Divers, with first-aid training, Richard and Jan are keen scuba divers and will be delighted to show you the fantastic undersea world of the Caribbean, either snorkelling or, for those qualified, scuba diving. Whether admiring the spectacular coral reef or exploring sunken wrecks, the wonders below the waves are not to be missed.

Richard and Jan both gave up successful professional careers to pursue their dream afloat. Richard worked in the distribution business, as UK Operations Director for one of the world's largest vehicle logistics companies providing shipping, land distribution and storage facilities, serving all of the major car manufacturers, he was responsible for the delivery of over 1 million vehicles per annum.

Jan also had a successful career in the human resources departments of several public authorities in the UK before moving to the service industry sector as Personnel Director of a Dutch owned company providing marketing and sales support to several of the major European and Japanese car manufacturers. Jan enjoys cooking and likes to use fresh local ingredients together with the zing of a little spice.

Both of us have a background in the provision of high quality services to very demanding customers and not only thrived in it but enjoyed the challenge. Although this is our first year of offering crewed chartering services we have had many guests, including friends and family, join us for vacations since we set out from the UK 5 years ago and have enjoyed sharing our boat and lifestyle with them. We can't wait to welcome you as our guests aboard.
