| Jabberwocky 51' Benneteau sloop
Decks - The spacious deck layout allows for adequate sunbathing areas along the full length of the yacht. Custom made sunbathing cushions spread generously across the deck whilst the aft sun canopy provides welcome shade for respite from the Caribbean sun. A deck shower will cool you after swimming and a swim ladder provides easy access to the water.
Cockpit - The roomy cockpit provides seating for six when underway. Cockpit cushions add to your comfort. A fully wrapped spray dodger keeps out any unwanted wind. At anchor you will probably prefer to dine under the stars by candlelight at the cockpit table. Beer and soft drinks are always available in the cool box on deck.
Saloon - With teak paneling throughout the saloon feels particularly comfortable. Feel free to lounge out on the sofas and listen to some music, watch a movie or just relax in comfort.
Jabberwocky's CrewCaptain Nick and Kaye Middleton Captain Nick Middleton and his wife Kaye, your hosts and the owners of Jabberwocky, have a combined 55 years of sailing. Starting in the waters of their native England, together they have sailed the rocky coastlines and islands of Greece and Turkey, the craggy islands along the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, Sydney Harbor – competing with water taxis and busy traffic, the Whitsunday Islands of Australia’s east coast, the coral reefs of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean Islands from the BVI to the Grenadines. After retiring recently they have settled in Antigua to concentrate on their first love – sailing. Nick was an English lawyer for many years. He is an experienced yachtsman who has sailed for more than thirty years and trained with the Royal Yachting Association of Great Britain (RYA), the most internationally recognized sailing authority in the world. He is a sports car enthusiast – MG’s and TVR’s – and enjoys snorkeling, star gazing, film of the 50’s and 60’s, kite flying, travel and reading. Kaye’s passion for cooking and entertaining comes alive on JABBERWOCKY. With a background in sales and marketing, she is intent on being the perfect hostess and offering the very best service to her guests. Kaye has attended cookery schools at Fishworks and with French Chef Extraordinaire, Raymond Blanc. She offers freshly prepared cuisine in Caribbean, continental European and English styles, using the freshest produce available. In fact, most of the fresh herbs she uses to enhance fish and chicken come from Kaye’s own garden. Her menus show the influence of her travels in Paris, New York, Rome, Prague and explorations in London’s ethnic neighborhoods. Having chartered themselves for twenty years, Nick and Kaye offer a combination of firsthand experience and enthusiasm. They welcome children over the age of six and readily encourage them to help with sailing. There are swimming ‘noodles’ and child-sized snorkel gear for the ‘water babies’ and buckets, sand shovels and kites for fun at the beach. They are both very safety conscious and are trained and qualified by the RYA in emergency procedures and first aid. The motto on JABBERWOCKY is ‘Carpe Diem’ and Nick and Kaye invite you to ‘Seize the Day’ and join them aboard for the trip of a lifetime.
